Beverly Hills-Tukatech is pleased to congratulate Lars Viklund, Kevin Talbot, and Jodi Sundberg, owners of Heart and Soul, on being named the People of the Year by the Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars-Sinai Medical center. The trio and their families were honored for their exemplary fund-raising work at the Guild’s 55th annual charity dinner in Beverly Hills.
The Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is comprised of apparel industry professionals working to raise money for special programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Now entering its 55th year of fundraising for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Fashion Industries Guild has raised over $21 million since 1956.
Each year the Fashion Industries Guild honors people in the fashion industry who have made significant efforts in advancing the charitable goals of the Guild. The owners of Heart & Soul were recognized for their work at the Fashion Industries Guild’s annual gala, held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Tukatech CEO Ram Sareen, Styku CEO Raj Sareen, and Tukatech Director Brad Whitely were among the hundreds fashion industry luminaries in attendance.
“Lars, Kevin, and Jodi are very enthusiastic and committed in their support of the Fashion Industries Guild,” said Guild President Kenneth Weinbaum. “Their fund-raising support will advance the Department of Pediatrics partnership with the Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute in their joint quest to research and eventually develop new treatment protocols for a range of devastating neurologic al diseases affecting children.”
